References

Every dated fact in the report carries a source. Section A lists the timeline's numbered sources, and section B lists the 631 unique URLs cited by the handset table and the vendor evidence, grouped by host, with the rows that cite them.

Handset sources were accessed on September 16–17, 2026, and vendor evidence sources on September 17, 2026. The 56 Wi-Fi Alliance certificate links were accessed on October 2, 2026.

Each link to a Wayback Machine capture carries its own 14-digit capture timestamp. Two of the 321 vendor evidence rows cite a Wayback Machine index search instead, and those two links have no timestamp. FCC grant links point to fccid.io, a mirror of the FCC equipment-authorization database.

How source disagreements were handled

Link to section: How source disagreements were handled

Where sources disagreed, both readings were recorded, and the report states how each was handled. Evidence gaps are accepted and stated in the main report’s caveats (see Caveats and open items), and real per-SKU differences keep both values.

Band flags changed to match FCC grants

Where an FCC grant contradicted the Tier 2 value, the band flag was changed to follow the grant:
